On the 18th of July 2007 in the Lviv Centre for Scientific Technical and Economic Information (57 V. Tchornovil ave, Lviv) took place a grand opening of the „Independent Energy Saving Technologies Centre”, hereinafter „ Energy Saving Centre ”
The "Energy Saving Centre" creation aim — the formation of innovative infrastructure in the sphere of energy saving and new technologies in building on the base of partner favorable cooperation with leading scientific technical groups and leading enterprises.
The main goals of the "Energy Saving Centre":
· development and implementation on the territory of West region of Ukraine pilot organization, informational, investment projects in the sphere of energy saving. These projects will be based on advanced technological solutions and proposals of modern equipment and machinery from Ukrainian and foreign manufacturers;
· spreading of the information about optimal possibilities of reducing energy saving expenses among state government body and local self-government, project-building organizations, active population;
· info-consultative maintenance of the region energy saving program.
An important component of the Center’s activity will be a permanent exhibition of the up-to-date energy saving technologies, equipment and stuff.
An exhibition is created for two purpose groups:
· authorities of the state government body and local self-government, municipal and state enterprises, public organizations that are responsible for region energy saving program performance;
· economically active people who are planning to implement energy saving technologies domicile.
