The FP7 NIP-Ukraine Regional Contact Point - Lviv Centre of Scientific-Technical and Economic Information - and the EU-funded project “Joint Support Office for enhancing Ukraine’s integration into the European Research Area” (JSO-ERA) will jointly organise the abovementioned Workshop in Lviv
The overall objective of the JSO-ERA project that started its activities in Ukraine in the end of 2009 is to facilitate the Ukrainian researchers’ effective cooperation with international partners under the EU 7th Framework Programme on Research and Technology Development. JSO-ERA will provide information and consultative support to Ukrainian research institutions and enterprises willing to participate or to extend their involvement in FP7.
This Workshop is the first one of a set of information and capacity building events in the regions of Ukraine planned by JSO-ERA in 2010-2011. It is intended essentially for research organisations from the Lviv region interested in the possibilities for Ukrainian participation in FP7 and in practical recommendations on preparing project proposals for the future FP7 Calls for Proposals.
The Workshop will be conducted by EU experts knowledgeable about the FP7 rules, procedures and good practice in project proposal preparation in their native countries. The FP7 programmes ‘People’ (mobility under the Marie Curie actions) and ‘Ideas’, as well as SMEs’ involvement in FP7 will be given a special attention.
