Nanotechnology, advanced materials and new production technologies in the new EU program HORIZON 2020, Kiev, Ukraine


We invite you to participate in the information day Nanotechnology, advanced materials and new production technologies in the new EU program HORIZON 2020 which will be held in Kiev at the V. Bakul Institute of Superhard Materials NAS of Ukraine on 16 May 2013.
The Information Day is supported by the two FP7 projects:
START «Boosting EU-Ukraine cooperation in the field of Superhard Materials», the project coordinator –  V. Bakul Institute of Superhard Materials NAS of Ukraine;
BILAT-UKR*AINA «Enhancing the BILATeral S&T Partnership with UKRraine *Advanced INnovative Approach», the project coordinator –  Centre for Social Innovation, Austria. 
 
The main objectives of the Information Day:
  • Provide Ukrainian scientists, inventors, innovative firms, financial and consulting structures with the information about the development of EU-Ukraine cooperation in the direction of NMP 7 FP EU.
  • To present the structure and main features of the new EU funding program for research and innovation HORIZON 2020, including role and place of the thematic priority "Nanotechnologies, advanced materials and new production technologies' in the program.
  • To Introduce opportunities of the project BILAT-UKR * AINA regarding the development of EU-Ukraine cooperation in the research and innovation.
  • Discuss the prospects of creating Ukrainian technology platform "Advanced materials and their use in Ukraine."
The format of the Information Day:
  • Reports of representatives of projects START and BILAT-UKR * AINA;
  • Expert reports from the FP7 National Contact Points in Ukraine;
  • Presentation of scientific and technological and project potential of the Info Day's participants;
  • Discussion of joint action plans on preparation of project proposals to the program HORIZON.
The organizational aspects of the Information Day.
Participation in the Information Day is free of charge. Participants cover at their own expense their costs related to the travel and accommodation in Kiev.

16 May – from 10.30 till 17.00. Registration from 10.00.
